Involvement in church

I always thought that going to church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights was enough. But that’s all it was, just “enough.”
This year I became involved in my youth group and it changed my life.
Being a part of a youth group is great because I always know I’m in a safe environment with people who genuinely love me.
You might think it could be “boring” but I promise you it is anything but that. In fact, it’s fun! We have church lock ins, and float trips, and bonfires, and more. We do fun things together all of the time.
More important then the “fun times” though is the relationships you build with people. It is a great feeling knowing so many people care about you and are there for you if you need them.
I have made so many amazing friends this year that have helped build me up and made me strive to be a better person.
If you’re reading this right now and have been debating on whether or not to become a more active member in church then I say go for it!!! If you’ve been praying for a sign, then here it is right now.
There is so much good that can come from surrounding yourself with good people.
